IMPPA shines at IFFl, Goa 2024 Following its successful participation in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) has once again made a significant impact at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFl) in Goa. IMPPA showcased a beautifully designed dedicated stall at the Film Bazaar in Marriott, attracting attention from industry professionals and film’ enthusiasts alike. This stall served as a prime platform for various producer members to promote their film trailers, posters and other promotional materials and an excellent opportunity to engage directly with potential buyers, distributors and collaborators.


Additionally in a unique and luxurious twist, IMPPA featured a 7-star deluxe yacht, offering a stunning backdrop of Goa's serene waters on which spectacular film posters and trailer launches and engaging masterclasses were held. The grand inauguration of the IMPPA yacht was conducted by Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Art, Culture, and Youth Department, Government of Bihar, along with Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting their esteemed presence adding more grace to the event. The IMPPA yacht quickly became a hot topic of discussion throughout the festival, standing out as a unique and luxurious platform for showcasing films and hosting events. This initiative was widely acknowledged and praised by participants, including high-level ministers and government officials, who visited the yacht and lauded its innovative approach.

IMPPA also held its Executive Committee meeting aboard the yacht, creating a truly memorable experience for all those who participated. The meeting, headed by IMPPA President Shri Abhay Sinha, was attended by prominent members of the Executive Committee, including Sr. Vice President IMPPA, Ms. Sushama Shiromanee, Vice President Shri Surendra Verma (Tinu Verma), Vice President Shri Atul Patel, Treasurer Shri Babubhai Thiba, General Secretary Shri Kukoo Kohli, Joint Secretary Shri Mahendra Dhariwal, General Secretary FMC and EC Member IMPPA Shri Nishant Ujjwal, Treasurer FMC and EC Member IMPPA Shri Rajkumar R. Pandey, Shri Bharat Patel, Shri Ghanshyambhai Talaviya, Shri Jagdishchandra B. Bariya, Shri Manish Jain, Shri Sanjeev Singh, Shri Vinod Gupta, Shri Yusuf Shaikh, Treasurer CHAMPP and EC Member IMPPA Shri Harsukhbhai Dhaduk and Shri Jitender Gulati.
