IMPPA President Shri Abhay Sinha meets Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary, Shri Sanjay Prasad, to discuss the future of the Film Industry in the State
President of Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA), Shri Abhay Sinha, and IMPPA Executive Committee Member & FMC General Secretary Shri Nishant Ujjwal met the Principal Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Govt, Shri Sanjay Prasad, in Lucknow to discuss the growth and future of the film industry in the state.

During the meeting, Shri Abhay Sinha presented Shri Sanjay Prasad with an IMPPA memento and appreciated the Uttar Pradesh Government’s progressive film policy. He said that Uttar Pradesh has now emerged as one of the most film-friendly states in India, creating a supportive environment for filmmakers and in view of this, IMPPA is looking forward to opening its office in Uttar Pradesh.

Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Prasad assured full cooperation for this initiative and emphasized the importance of promoting regional films. He further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is consistently taking sincere and focused steps to develop the state as a major film hub.

Shri Nishant Ujjwal shared that after Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh, IMPPA will soon open its office in Lucknow. He added that the State Government has assured complete support for this initiative.

The meeting highlighted a shared commitment to strengthening the film ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh and encouraging the growth of regional cinema.
