The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) marks a proud milestone as its President, Shri Abhay Sinha, has been elected President of the Film Federation of India (FFI).
The Film Federation of India (FFI) is the apex body of the Indian film industry, representing producers, distributors, exhibitors, studios and allied film associations across the country and plays a vital role in promoting and safeguarding the growth of Indian cinema at both national and international levels. Serving as a vital bridge between the Film Industry, Government authorities, policy makers and global film organizations, FFI also holds the distinction of being the officially recognized body responsible for selecting India’s entry for the Academy Awards and representing Indian cinema at premier international platforms.

His election follows closely after his unanimous appointment as Vice President of the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF), a clear sign of the widespread confidence and respect he enjoys within the Indian and global film community.
