On June 21, 2025, not just India but the entire world is celebrating the 11th International Day of Yoga with the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health." On this special occasion, a grand event was organized in Mumbai at the Dome SVP Stadium, Worli, with full enthusiasm and dignity.
From Bollywood celebrities to social activists and health-conscious individuals, many took part in the event. The aim of the program was to promote yoga, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle.

During the event, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor emphasized the importance of celebrating health, mental balance, and fitness in today’s world. He recalled the famous school saying, "Health is Wealth."
Calling yoga India’s priceless gift to the world, Arjun shared his personal fitness journey. He said he transformed his body in four years and believes if he can do it, anyone can. “Don’t postpone it. Start today itself. Yoga is a long journey, and it has no age limit,” he added.
Arjun also expressed his gratitude towards DVH Foundation and Amruta Fadnavis, appreciating their efforts to inspire thousands of women through this event. He shared his hope of seeing even more participation next time.
Amruta Fadnavis on Women and Yoga
The inspiration and lead figure behind the event was Amruta Fadnavis, who brought together 1,000 women for a massive yoga session. Her goal was to make yoga more inclusive for women and young girls.
She stated, "When today’s women inspire one another and adopt yoga into their lifestyle, it brings positive change in society. Yoga is not just for the body but also essential for the mind and soul."
Emphasizing that yoga is a lifestyle and a habit, Amruta also mentioned a special yoga camp was held for BMC sanitation workers. She highlighted the media's crucial role in spreading the message of yoga far and wide through such public events.

Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha was also present and spoke about the importance of health and yoga during the program.
Dr. Rekha Chaudhary on Yoga and Digital Detox

Dr. Rekha Chaudhary, Global Wellness Ambassador and Founder of World Digital Detox Day, stressed the importance of yoga and digital detox. She said, "Together with the DIVYAS Foundation, we fully support International Yoga Day. Mindful activities, digital detox, and alignment of body–mind–soul are essential. Stepping away from social media and the mobile world, yoga reconnects you with real life."
She also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in taking yoga to a global platform, stating that yoga has now become an international movement, not just a physical practice.

Another personality from the entertainment world remarked, "It is a matter of pride that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave yoga international recognition. I wake up every day at 5:30 AM and practice yoga. It brings mental clarity, purity of heart, and enhances creativity."
