Janhvi Kapoor reacts on not doing big commercial films

Janhvi Kapoor is currently promoting her film 'Uljh' vigorously. The film is just a few days away from release. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor spoke about doing big commercial films in an interview. She said that she finds it more satisfying.

Janhvi said this about big commercial films

Janhvi Kapoor said in a recent interview, “I could have chosen a very easy journey. Instead of this film or a few films behind me, I could have done big commercial films where there would be glamour, reach very easily, become popular, box office numbers would be guaranteed. That is a very easy journey. The success rate in that is almost guaranteed. There is a lot of risk in this”.

Janhvi Kapoor chose difficult and risky films

Janhvi Kapoor further added, "So I know it's a long game, it's a tough game. I know that if we look at the box office, realistically, there have been more flops than hits because of the nature of the tough risky films that I have chosen. But I think my growth as an artist has been more satisfying than if I had chosen the easier route."

Uljhan will be released on August 2

Talking about the film Uljh, the actress will be seen playing the role of Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner of this country. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film Uljh stars impressive actors like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang and Jitendra Joshi in lead roles. This thriller is set to hit theaters on August 2, 2024.
