Cricket head coach Amol Muzumdar who was the mastermind mentor behind the first ever prestigious ICC Women's World Cup Cricket trophy (2025 ), never wore the Indian Cricket Cap as a Test match player. Today, Amol wears the crown as a commendable coach. After the sensational victory, it was very emotionally overwhelming when Captain Harmanpreet Kaur bowed down to touch Anmol's feet in sheer gratitude.

Meanwhile, social media, cricket fans, and ardent loyal fans of Shah Rukh Khan have reacted with lavish tributes for head coach Amol Muzumdar, drawing striking similarity parallels between his real-life journey and Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic hockey-coach screen-character "Kabir Khan" from the 2007 super-hit YRF film Chak De India directed by Shimit Amin. Both  Amol and 'Kabir' have earned similar redemption, resilience and ultimate validation-acclaim in the zone of international competitive team-sports. It may be recalled that Shah Rukh's screen-character 'Kabir Khan' was apparently inspired by the career of real-life famous Indian hockey player and coach Mir Ranjan Negi. who had gone through a lot of adverse situations and had also faced ( false) allegations.

On Sunday evening, Amol Muzumdar, the coach of the Indian women's cricket team, became the real-life "Kabir Khan" when the Wonder Women In Blue led by dynamic Capt. Harmanpreet Kaur clinched their first-ever World Cup title after thrashing South Africa by 52 runs in an emotionally-charged match in Mumbai.

It was a supreme surreal coincidence that the Indian Women's team scored the fabulous victory against South Africa on the same evening (Nov 2nd) in Navi Mumbai Stadium when mega-star Shah Rukh Khan ("King Khan") was celebrating his 60th Birthday with his ardent, loyal fans at Bandra in Mumbai! In fact, coincidentally, the Chak De and visuals were being shown! Shah Rukh said at his Bday event, that the real reason why he agreed to act in Chak De India, as the Coach,  was also because his 'late' Father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan loved to play hockey, but had to give up due to an injury. So 'Chak De India' movie was also a tribute to his late' Father! Here is yet one more startling coincidence-- super Coach Amol Muzumdar's birthday is on November 11th---just nine days after box-office Badshah Shah Rukh's janamdin on Nov 2nd!

In real life, Amol Muzumdar was an outstanding domestic cricketer! The comparisons between on-screen coach Kabir arise from Muzumdar’s remarkable story — a prolific domestic cricketer who never played for India despite scoring 11,167 first-class runs at an including 30 centuries. Also hailed as the “New Tendulkar,” he dominated the Ranji Trophy for two decades but Amol retired in 2014 without an international Test Match cap. Both Kabir Khan and Amol Muzumdar came back with a positive vengeance, turned their energies into becoming head-coaches, and made a startling surprise finals Winner out of their women's teams, both reel and real that weren't considered front-runners as the probable Winner in the respective World Cup!

It remains to be seen if Chak De India (2025) with possibly a different movie-title is scripted and made during 2026 as a worthy 'sequel-in-spirit'!  Because this cricket-centric movie featuring the dreams, manifestations, struggles, and ultimate victory against all odds---will not only serve as a thrilling entertainer! But will also be a timeless, motivating, inspiring movie for all future young generations, especially young aspiring girls and ambitious women who wish to reach great heights in sports and in their careers.
