During a conversation with fellow contestants after wrestler Sangeeta Phogat’s emotional exit due to a family emergency, Kiku opened up about losing his parents just two years ago. He revealed that while he was in the US (Kiku Sharda family and personal life), he missed answering his mother’s last phone call—something that still weighs heavily on him.

“I was in the US two years back, and my mother passed away. You take time to come to terms—you’re at the airport, you’re an actor, people are coming to you for photos. I didn’t answer her last phone call. I thought I would call her tomorrow since I was busy, and the next day she was not there,” Kiku shared with teary eyes.
