Tell us about your characters in ‘The Bads Of Bollywood’.
Lakshya: My character in the series is Asmaan Singh. As mentioned in the trailer, “There are many stars, but Asmaan is just one.” He’s a confident newcomer trying to make a name for himself in Bollywood. His journey shows the industry’s politics, drama, and emotions. It’s a very interesting story with several twists and turns. (The Bads Of Bollywood Netflix series 2025)
Raghav: My character’s name is Parvez. He’s a true friend who would do anything for friendship. In India, friendship is an emotion, and my character represents that. His bond with the group is very strong, and that’s where all the fun begins.
Sahher: I play Karishma Talwar in the series, the daughter of superstar Ajay Talwar (Bobby Deol). She’s a star kid but is struggling to make her own identity. Her character has an interesting arc that unfolds with every episode.
Anya: I play Saanya, Asmaan Singh’s manager. She is not only his career guide but also a friend. Surviving in the industry alone is not possible, and my character shows how important support is. Saanya’s story revolves around Asmaan’s journey. (Bobby Deol in The Bads Of Bollywood)
What makes this series different from other Bollywood-based stories?
Sahher: I feel it’s quite different from everything else. I don’t want to reveal too much because I want the audience to watch it and give their love. Their feedback is very important. While our series is inspired by Bollywood, it’s completely unique. It presents a fresh perspective on how people perceive the industry. (Lakshya Lalwani talks about The Bads Of Bollywood)
How was the experience working with debut director Aryan?
Lakshya: Absolutely amazing! Aryan is very chill, open, and a creative director. There was no hierarchy on set; everyone’s opinions were valued. Directing such big actors isn’t easy, but Aryan managed it brilliantly. His energy and vision motivated all of us.
In your opinion, what’s the biggest highlight of the show?
Raghav: It shows the real inside world of Bollywood in a fun way. Every character feels real. The script, direction, and acting are top-notch. Fresh, brave, and entertaining content like this is rare on OTT, and this might be something new for the first time. (Sahher Bambba on Netflix series The Bads Of Bollywood)
Did you ever feel insecure being part of such a big cast?
Sahher: No, because we were all secure about our roles. Every character in this show has a distinct identity, and everyone gets a chance to shine. While many actors work together on OTT platforms, here everyone got equal space. We all were confident about our characters and proud to be part of this story.
How was the shooting experience on set, and any memorable or fun moments?
Lakshya: On the first day, we thought this would be a serious type of show like the ones we’ve seen before, but as we read the script, one page after another, we all laughed so much that we were ‘rolling on the floor’! Manoj Pahwa became part of our group too. We would sit together, eat together, and hang out even after shooting. (Cast interviews The Bads Of Bollywood)
Anya: There was no hesitation at all. Everyone was very supportive. Every day on set was full of fun, jokes, and pranks, but professionalism remained.
: It took me a little time to adjust, but then it felt like we were a family.
In one line, why should the audience watch this series?
Lakshya: If you haven’t watched this show, you haven’t seen anything!
Raghav: The show is very fresh and brave. Nothing like this has come on OTT before.
