Maha-RANI Mukerji gets well-deserved National Film ( Best Actress) Award for Mrs.Chatterjee vs.Norway!  'Humne 02 Saal Pehley hee--unko badhaai di thhi' ! by Chaitanya Padukone

Hearty Congrats Cine-Maa-ki Maha-RANI MUKHERJI ! For Your well-deserved National Film ( Best Actress) Award for Your gut-wrenching, emotional, sensitive performance as the distressed yet daring rebel-Mother in Mrs.Chatterjee vs.Norway ( 2023) thriller-social drama movie directed by Ashima Chibber.

Yeh toh honaa hi thha ! Interestingly, i remember heartily congratulating RANI two years in advance, just after watching the trailer-screening of that movie, and her intense, sensitive performance as the distressed, rebel mother 'Debika Chatterjee'-----this was at YRF YashRaj Studios. And i even confidently Predicted to her that would surely qualify for the National Film Awards.  With an air of modesty,  she had then replied to me, "may your words come true"! 
Since  i  know Rani right from the initial phase of her acting career, (movie 'Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat'--1997 ), it is always a sentimental  honour for me, catching up with the unassuming Maha-Rani of iconic Yash Raj Studios inside the Durbar of her premium brand  banner Studios.#  The "Aati Kya Khandala" song bubbly girl ( Rani) and the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress who has this  sweet husky tone in her voice, has dared to act convincingly in versatile, image-defying varied lead roles ! As in National Film Awards winning Black (2005) where Rani plays the blind-deaf-mute girl, that too with mega-icon Amitabh Bachchan as her co-star .Or in Hichki (2018) where her school-teacher character has a retarding disability due to Tourette syndrome. While in Mardaani (2014), Rani plays a pretty tough yet de-glam daring Crime Branch police officer ! # Cheers RANI , (winner of 08 Filmfare Awards, we are Proud of You--- do continue to Reign in showbiz with more such kaafi hatke roles !
