Mallobika Banerjii Clears Up Misconception About Vijay Deverakonda

Bengali actress Mallobika Banerjii, known for her vibrant presence in numerous projects recently addressed a long-standing misconception surrounding her comments about Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda. The two had worked together on the music video Nee Venakale Nadichi a few years back, and during an interview, Mallobika made a light-hearted remark about Vijay's Hindi language, which was met with mixed reactions from the public and media alike. 

For unversed back then, Vijay Deverakonda had compared Hindi to Hebrew, which Mallobika Banerjii addressed in one of her interviews as she had encountered this while Vijay made his Bollywood debut acting in Liger. 

Addressing the issue, Mallobika expressed her concerns over the misinterpretation of her words. "Though it has been a long time, I still want to clear my stance as people around me still misinterpret me. The way I said it wasn't intentional and was mistaken both in words and delivery. I don't mean to hurt anyone. As artists, we are surely open to work in all the fields we wish to."

Emphasizing the jesting nature of her previous comment, she added, "My remark was a joke and wasn't meant to degrade Vijay or expose him in any way. I do respect him a lot as an artist and even as a friend a lot and the comment was simply playful and not for criticism. So I would request everyone to let just put a full stop on this issue and focus on the better and good things happening around in life and even on the professional front."

Both actors continue to make strides in their respective careers, showcasing their talents across diverse platforms and languages. With this clarification, Malobika hopes to put an end to any lingering confusion and ensure that her words are not taken out of context.

For the unversed, Mallobika Banerjii started her Bollywood career with a Hindi music video named “Dilbar” sung by Shahid Mallya from Zee music label. Also in  “Pretty Girl” sung by Kanika Kapoor for a T-series music label. Kill Karda’ with Ganesh Acharya, and ‘Naino Ki Barish’. She also wrote and sang a rap song named 'Jee Lene Do' She has also acted in movies like Chorabali, Katmundu, and Mister Bhaduri. She has also done Odia movies such as Mate Bohu Kari Nei ja, and Dele Dhara Katha Sare. She has a few bunch of music videos and films now in her kitty to which the official announcement would be made soon.
