Manoj Bajpayee is ready for the release of his upcoming film Bhaiyya Ji. In a recent interview, the actor spoke openly on the debate of South cinema apart from Bollywood, he talked about why South Indian films are trending and said that Hindi films people should connect with the people of South films.
The audience wants to see something else
In an interview, Manoj was discussing the impact of the use of VFX in today's films when he shared why South films are taking off. He said that in most Hindi films, the audience wants to see something else and the signal is coming from them. Therefore, people in the industry including actors and filmmakers should understand the signs.
South Films are culturally connected
Speaking about South films, he said, "We need to find out why South films are working." He said that directors in the South practice taking shots after watching all kinds of films. He praised that the stories in their films are completely their own and are culturally linked. He said, "The hero of South films wears a lungi and before the action, he pulls up the lungi and does the action."
Manoj Bajpayee on about changing the cinema
Manoj said that Hindi films should connect with the people of South cinema. Giving the example of his upcoming film Bhaiyya Ji, the actor said that if people do not connect with his fight in the film, it will not work. He believes that now is the time. It's time for him to change his cinema again, Manoj Bajpayee also said, "The hero in films should be representative of the common people"
