Metro In Dino Song 'Ishq Hai Ya Tharak': Sara-Aditya Shine, Fatima Turns Up Heat

On Monday, June 23, the music launch event for Anurag Basu’s film Metro In Dino was held at Spotify’s venue in Worli, Mumbai. The event saw the presence of the film’s star cast including Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, Bhushan Kumar, Shilpa Rao, Akasa Singh, music composer Pritam Chakraborty, and several other members of the film team.

Sara Ali Khan, who is paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the film, wore a sleeveless red jumpsuit. Aditya appeared in a denim look and looked quite handsome.

Fatima – Ali

Fatima styled a white crop shirt with fashionable pants, while her co-star Ali Fazal appeared in a casual outfit.

Konkona Sensharma opted for a stylish white western outfit paired with a blazer. Senior actress Neena Gupta stunned everyone in a white saree.

Akasa Singh

Singer Akasa Singh wore a designer dress for the occasion. However, key cast members Anupam Kher and Pankaj Tripathi were not present at the event.

‘Ishq Hai Ya Tharak’ Song Launch

During the event, the brand-new song Ishq Hai Ya Tharak was launched in the presence of director Anurag Basu, the cast, and fans. The song is now also available on Spotify. Aditya Roy Kapur performed the song live for the media and the audience for the first time.

Fatima is Obsessed with ‘Dil Ka Kya’

At the event, Fatima revealed that she is obsessed with the song Dil Ka Kya from the film. Meanwhile, Neena Gupta sang snippets of old classic songs. During a game session, she sang “Raat Kali Ek Khwab Mein Aayi,” and everyone joined in the fun. The team of Neena Gupta, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Fatima emerged as the winners of the game round.

Arijit Singh Joins via Video Call

One of the highlights of the evening was singer Arijit Singh, who has lent his voice to two songs in the film. He joined the event virtually via video call and performed a song live for the attendees. He was connected to the event by music composer Pritam.

Later, Pritam and Shilpa Rao also performed with a live band. The entire star cast then came together to sing Ishq Hai Ya Tharak.

This romantic drama film is all set to hit theatres on July 4. It is produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions. Metro In Dino is a sequel to the 2007 film Life in a... Metro.
