Mitu on Self-Care Journey: Renowned producer-writer Mitu, the creative force behind cult television shows like Pavitra Rishta, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Saat Phere, Sarkar, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Kahin Kisi Roz, is a name synonymous with Indian television excellence.

Mitu Shares Self-Care Tips: Hydration and Rest Key

Having spent decades crafting stories that touched millions, Mitu is now turning the spotlight inward, sharing how the past few months have reshaped her approach to self-care. “I drink a lot of water and try to sleep on time because the two most important things are keeping your body hydrated and allowing it to rest,” she said. “These basics—hydration and rest—are the true cornerstones of good health.”

Mitu elaborated on her daily routine, which includes mindful eating, walking, and regular exercise. But what’s truly changed is her mindset. “The end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 have taught me that taking care of your health is crucial. By not doing so, I’ve suffered in the long run, and we all really need to slow down.”

The prolific creator emphasized that in the rush of deadlines and responsibilities, it's easy to ignore the body's signals—something she now avoids. “We need to listen to our bodies and understand what they are telling us, instead of ignoring them. Ignoring our bodies can lead to situations that are not conducive to well-being,” she warned.

Mitu also took a moment to applaud those silently battling chronic health issues: “A big shout-out to all the people with autoimmune diseases who go about their day-to-day lives with as much normality as possible.”

Her message is both inspiring and grounding: no matter how fast life moves, your health must remain your highest priority.
