MTV Splitsvilla 16, one of the most popular dating reality shows among youngsters, has made a smashing comeback. The new season, titled Splitsvilla X6, premiered on Friday, January 9, 2026. This time, the theme of the show is ‘Pyaar Ya Paisa’, which is set to create an intense clash between the contestants’ hearts and minds. What Did Uorfi Say About the New Contestants?

While talking about the new contestants, Uorfi praised a few names in particular. She said, “Gullu is a complete package—funny, smart, and entertaining. Apart from him, contestants like Yogesh, Tane, Kaira, and Sadaf are also very interesting and will deliver great content on the show.”
She also mentioned that Sadaf Shankar is especially being talked about a lot on social media.

When asked whether any contestant from this season could eventually make it to Bigg Boss, Uorfi shared her honest opinion: “Doing Splitsvilla just to reach Bigg Boss shouldn’t be the end goal. There’s much more beyond Bigg Boss. One shouldn’t limit themselves to just one show.”

On Missing Rannvijay Singha

Speaking about the absence of former host Rannvijay Singha, Uorfi said that she misses him a lot. However, she also praised Karan Kundrra for doing an excellent job as a host this season. She said, “Karan is just like an elder brother—he explains things when needed and scolds when required. I’ve formed a great bond with him and Tejasswi Prakash on set.”

Bond with Nia Sharma

When asked about her bond with Nia Sharma, Uorfi jokingly said, “I hate her… because she wears such hot clothes.” She quickly clarified with a laugh that it was just a joke and that they share a great friendship.
