Multi-talented Shraddha Kapoor is the Hindi voice of cute, bossy 'bunny' cop Judy Hopps in upcoming Disney's Zootopia-2 !! By Sr. Journalist Chaitanya Padukone

Since as a senior journalist, I personally know both versatile star-actor Shakti Kapoor-jee and his dignified wife Shivangi-jee since over past three decades, I have seen their daughter Shraddha as a multi-talented young budding actress who is also very good at singing, dancing, besides being an excellent actress !  . And yes at perfectly  'mimicking' Indian and foreign accents ( British, Russian etc) voices !  

Yeh toh honaa hi thha ! Star actress, mimic and occasional singer  Shraddha Kapoor is now the smart Hindi voice of the fierce and dynamic police officer Judy Hopps, in the much-awaited Disney film Zootopia-2 with the film scheduled for release on Friday, November 28th.

At a special press conference held this afternoon for the announcement of the Hindi version of Disney’s highly anticipated upcoming film, Zootopia 2, star-actress Shraddha Kapoor ( of super-hit landmark movies  'Aashiqui-2', . Ek Villain, Chhichhore, Saaho,  'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' and  'Stree' movies and shared her thrill excitement about embodying animated character Judy Hopps in Hindi.!

During the conference, zestful Shraddha spoke candidly about how deeply she identifies with the character of the bunny cop. She emphasized the parallels in their personalities,"Judy Hopps is a bunny-rabbit-cop character who has a lot in common with me. She has her head firmly on her shoulders and I could definitely relate to her 'enthu cutlet' aspect. She is authoritative and bossy when she has to be, and soft when the moment calls for it. It was a lot of fun being Judy."

Exuberant Shraddha further elaborated on the creative process of lending her voice to an animated character, noting how liberating the experience was: "Giving my voice for an animated character is a very different and freeing experience. As kids, we used to imitate a lot of people, and now to lend my voice to a bunny who is funny and cool was just incredibly enjoyable. I had to modulate my voice to match her—when she’s angry, when she’s being silly—and I was in such a good mood to explore all of that. It requires you to truly be the character's voice."

A major highlight of the event was the screening of a special unit, where the press witnessed Shraddha Kapoor fully embodying Judy Hopps' personality—her energy, perseverance, and warmth—proving that the choice to cast her goes beyond just finding a voice.
