The New Year Welcome Committee (Shri Swami Samarth Nagar, Andheri West) successfully organized the Indian New Year Welcome Procession (Yugabda 5127) on the auspicious occasion of New Year's Day - Chaitra Shukla Pratipada. The event was supported by Lions Club of Mumbai SOL in association with Vishwa Sindhi Seva Sangam. It took place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 4 PM, bringing together a large number of devotees, families, and cultural enthusiasts.
It was a 1.7km grand procession symbolising unity, devotion and the collective spirit of the celebration. The procession started from Meera Tower and ended at the New Mhada Colony . The procession saw enthusiastic participation from people of all ages, dressed in traditional attire, showcasing the rich heritage of India.
