Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, has strongly appealed to audiences to watch the upcoming film “Shatak: Sangh Ke 100 Varsh”, stating that the gap between the public perception and the ground reality of the RSS over the last 100 years is deeply unfortunate.

In a recently released video message, Mr. Gadkari said that the film offers an authentic understanding of the RSS ideology, its spirit of sacrifice, dedication, and nation-building. He highlighted the organization’s extensive contribution in areas such as tribal welfare, education, cooperative movements, and social service, driven by the efforts of lakhs of volunteers.
Calling RSS a key contributor to India’s development journey, Mr. Gadkari emphasized that the centenary milestone should be collectively understood and celebrated. He also spoke about the organization’s role in instilling patriotism among youth and its continued efforts toward social, economic, and educational progress.

Addressing misconceptions, he stated that Hindutva is neither casteist nor communal, but a way of life rooted in India’s culture, history, and traditions, and inclusive of all communities.
“Shatak: Sangh Ke 100 Varsh” traces the 100-year journey of the RSS, addressing misconceptions, highlighting its social initiatives, and showcasing its ideological foundation. The recently released trailer has generated significant buzz, and the film is slated for a nationwide theatrical release on 20 February 2026.
