"Our rom-com musical movie will be Merry Xmas day release on Thursday, Dec 25th, and it is our cinematic romantic Christmas Gift to all our fans and audiences," said Kartik and Ananya speaking to me!

Incidentally, in this much-awaited movie Jackie Shroff is shown playing Ananya's on-screen father, and in the trailer, there are warm 'jhalaks' of the father-daughter bonding. In real-life, Jackie ( Bhidu) Shroff is a close buddy- friend of Chunky Pandey ( Ananya's father)  for past nearly 40 years!

After generating strong excitement with its teaser and chart-topping songs, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri unveils its much-awaited trailer, announcing the grand return of big-screen romance with a wholesome festive entertainer that blends charm, chaos, emotion, and mass appeal in all the right doses.

In one of his sentimental moods producer Karan Johar shared that this movie "tu Meri Main Tewra..' is a every family-connect subject almost a 'har-ghar-ki-kahani' with a never-before twist of core-conflict which again is highly relatable to almost every family.  Describing his movie hero Kartik as someone who lives cinema, who breathes films and who sleeps cinema 24 X 7 he rarely sleeps. As a special caring gesture Kasran Johar said that from January 2026 on wards he would start playing "match-maker" for eligible bachelor Kartik Aryan. Also because Kartik said he was still hunting for true love in real-life, but had to be happy with on-screen romance.
