Maulana Shahabuddin said, “Nushrat Bharucha went to the Mahakal temple in Ujjain, performed worship, offered water, and followed the religious rituals there. Islam does not permit such acts. Shariah dictates that Nushrat should repent, recite Istighfar, and read the Kalma. She has acted against Islam. Therefore, she falls under the purview of Shariah and is guilty of committing a serious sin. It is necessary for her to repent.”
