On the professional front, Rajkummar was recently seen in Maalik, as a ruthless mafia-Don in a gangster revenge-emotional drama directed by Pulkit. The film, which released in theatres on July 11, marked his image-defying brutal gangster role and first on-screen pairing with former Miss World beautiful Manushi Chhillar, who played the de-glam female lead. Backed by Kumar Taurani’s Tips Films and Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films, the movie added another strong performance to Rajkummar’s versatile filmography. Prior to that, he impressed audiences with mega-hit Stree 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor, which was a box office hit. Then there was the hit  'Bhool Chuk Maaf' where Rajkummar convincingly played a comedy-centric character.

Real-life- romantic Rajkummar ( who speaks Bengali fluently) had apparently fallen in love with 'model-actress' Patralekhaa after he first saw her in a telecom commercial ad. After which they coincidentally met on a common travel-journey to Pune. They then acted together in this movie 'Citylights' ( 2014) directed by Hansal Mehta, where they played on-screen husband-wife.. Eventually, the 'engaged couple' finally got married to each other on 15th November 2021!
