The special screening of Paro Pinaki Ki Kahani took place in Mumbai ahead of its release on 6 February. What Is the Film About?
The story of Paro Pinaki Ki Kahani revolves around two characters—Mariam (Eshitta Singh) and Pinaki (Sanjay Bishnoi)—who are deeply in love. Pinaki works cleaning drains and sewers, while Mariam runs a vegetable shop with her father. They meet daily in railway compartments during their commute.

When Mariam sits at her vegetable shop, she is regularly harassed by two men, but her father does nothing about it. Mariam shares her troubles with Pinaki. One day, Mariam suddenly stops meeting him, prompting Pinaki to go in search of her. During his search, he is shocked to discover that Mariam’s father has sold her to a man for just ₹15,000.
Pinaki goes to rescue Mariam and tries to help her escape, but he is caught. He then promises to pay double the amount for which Mariam was sold. Will he succeed in saving his love? To find out, audiences will have to watch the film.
‘Paro Pinaki Ki Kahani’ was released in theatres on 6 February.
