On December 16, the trailer of Pintu Ki Pappi was launched in a star-studded event. The event saw the presence of choreographer Ganesh Acharya, actors Sushant Thamke, Jaanyaa Joshi, Vidhi Yadav, Javed Ali, fight master Real Satish, and Vijay Raj. Bollywood's superstar Akshay Kumar also graced the event as a special guest. The Khiladi Kumar added his comic charm to the occasion, capturing everyone's attention. All-Black Theme for the Trailer Launch Event The star cast of Pintu Ki Pappi looked stunning in black outfits at the trailer launch. Actress Jaanyaa Joshi, who plays the lead role, looked striking in a black western outfit. Unfortunately, actress Vidhi Yadav couldn't attend the event due to ongoing shoot commitments. Hero Sushant Thamke was seen in a black suit, while choreographer Ganesh Acharya and his wife twinned in all-black outfits. It seemed that the theme for the trailer launch was set in black, as the entire cast matched the theme perfectly. Akshay Kumar's Presence at the Event To add more glamour to the Pintu Ki Pappi trailer launch, Bollywood's beloved Khiladi Akshay Kumar made a special appearance. He wore a white t-shirt paired with loose black pants, looking relaxed and happy. He congratulated the entire star cast and wished them all the best for the film. He said, “I"m here for this film and for my friend. We"ve been friends for almost 30 years. He choreographed his first song with me, and we worked together for the first time in Maidaan-E-Jung. Today, I"m so happy for him. He"s choreographed nearly 7-8 thousand songs in this industry. He"s won two National Awards, one of which was for a song in my film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.” He continued, “Take any song he choreographed for me. For example, the song "Bala" from Housefull 4 (2019). The hard work and steps were his, but the benefits went to me. Many actors have gained from his choreography, even though the steps were his.” Akshay further praised Ganesh Acharya by saying, “He"s a wonderful and interesting person. If he gives me a command, I can never refuse him. Whenever I need him, he"s always there. So, congratulations to my friend.” Ganesh Acharya"s Excitement and Journey At the trailer launch, Ganesh Acharya expressed his excitement and shared how he convinced producer Vidhi Yadav to make the film. “I"ve been trying to make films from Swami to now. I keep fighting for it, and God gives me the strength.” he said. He added, “I didn"t have the cast in mind initially. I always work with newcomers. Sushant was struggling, and he came to my studio three times, but I didn"t meet him. After I returned from the Pushpa 2 shoot, I saw him in the lift and instantly knew he was my hero. For the heroine, we chose Jaanyaa Joshi, who"s from Delhi. So, that"s how the film came together. They both worked so hard, and the dance, emotions, and actions are fantastic.” Working with Newcomers During the event, Ganesh Acharya also shared his love for working with newcomers. “Star power can sometimes overshadow talent. I prefer to work with new faces. In fact, stars don"t even want to work with me,” he said with a smile. Actress Jaanyaa Joshi Shares Behind-the-Scenes Fun Actress Jaanyaa Joshi shared some fun behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot. “There were always some funny incidents on set. There was always something unusual happening, like my flying hair. Masterji used to always tell me, "Janya, fix your hair!" One day, while shooting an action scene, Masterji was sitting a little far away, and Sushant and I were almost ready for action. Suddenly, Masterji shouted, "Fix my hair!" I told Sushant, "Fix your hair." But Masterji yelled, "Not his, fix yours!" Everyone burst into laughter. It"s one of my fondest memories.” Fight Master Real Satish"s Gratitude South"s renowned fight master Real Satish, who worked on Dashera and now in Pintu Ki Pappi, expressed his gratitude towards Ganesh Acharya. “If I am here today, it"s because of Ganesh Acharya. This is my first Bollywood film, and I"m excited to be part of it,” said Satish. Pintu Ki Pappi is an entertainer packed with romance, comedy, and action. The film will be released in cinemas on February 21, 2025.
