Stunning actress-model-social activist Poonam Jhawer, who wowed audiences with her romantic song Na Kajre Ki Dhaar (Mohra ) and her striking spiritual role in the hit movie 'Oh My God' (2012), is all set to participate in the Holi 2026 revelry during early next week. But she prefers to play Holi with care and safety every year. Explains style-icon Poonam, " Every year rang-barse-Holi is such a colourful festival which brings about social unity and bonding  among family, friends, neighbors and relatives. But like all my friends from showbiz, I also take care and safety by using only organic herbal colours which do Not harm the skin or do not irritate the eyes or ears.We also enjoy playing colorful-flowers Holi. My advice-appeal to all my lovely fans and all respected Readers is that-- Please Play Safe Holi and ensure that there is no nuisance-value, no misconduct and no toxic Holi,"  appeals Poonam Jhawer, who is looking forward to three new upcoming showbiz projects during the current (2026) year !.

Speaking about her upcoming film Kalinka, the altruistic nature  Poonam whose real-life passion is animal and birds welfare and social human welfare. said, "It’s not exactly a comeback, but I am doing a film after a long gap I play this young, lively, and positive woman.with a spiritual positive taantrik theme. The story is set in Uttarakhand and revolves around exposing wrong local myths-beliefs and highlights the bond between humans and nature. My dynamic character with intense expressions  is central to the story, helping and genuinely guiding people with her shakti and vision."

Fashion-savvy Poonam also excitedly spoke about another ethnic project, (tentatively titled Aparajita), which is being shot in Rajasthan. “It is inspired by real incidents and local traditions. It has a woman-oriented empowerment main role for me . I am confident it will make a strong impact and this movie will surely qualify to win Awards at various Film-Festivals,” disclosed madame Jhawer who is also in the process of signing a new Telugu film by April and also being approached for new OTT web-series.

Regarding the long gaps between her films, the 'selective' Poonam explains  that she stayed creatively occupied despite receiving fewer acting offers. Shares Poonam,  “After my last film, R... Rajkumar, I may have not signed movies for a while. But I kept myself busy with Awards events and social activities  For seven years, I organised the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards, which also mainly celebrated excellence and merit-talent in Bollywood.  Later, I even co-produced a Nana Patekar starrer film, "Aanch", and continued creating engaging visual content on social media platforms.Some of the offers which I got for mainstream films frankly didn’t excite me and I felt I would not be comfortable in those roles hence I declined those roles," clarifies Poonam.who is strong-willed and became one of the youngest dynamic female producers in the industry and continued to make movies ,music tracks and music videos.

Looking back on her journey,  sentimental Poonam recalls fond memories from the sets of the landmark musical movie 'Mohra'. “Sharing screen-space and credit billing with top co-stars Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar, and many others was memorable. The role I played was prominent and I am very grateful to the showman director Rajiv Rai-Sir for giving me that fantastic acting-career-opportunity. Like most people, I have also seen many ups and downs in my life  But I don’t regret the past losses or misses and unpleasant experiences --they are all learning lessons for me. But I always believe in moving ahead go-with-the-flow with optimistic confidence and dignity.!
