PM Modi Congratulates Rakul Preet Singh & Jackie Bhagnani

The wedding ceremony of Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani took place on 21 February in Goa. Our country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also congratulated the couple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a letter to Jackky Bhagnani's parents, Vashu and Pooja, as the actor-producer married Rakul Preet Singh. Rakul shared a photo of the letter on her Instagram stories, along with which PM Modi congratulated the family and sent best wishes to the newlyweds. Part of the letter reads, "The coming year is an opportunity for the couple to discover each other, as well as to move forward together on the path of self-recovery."

Sharing this on her Instagram stories, Rakul Preet Singh thanked Prime Minister Modi and wrote, "Your wishes mean a lot."

The wedding ceremony of Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani took place on 21 February in Goa. Honoring Rakul's Sikh roots, the couple first got married with an Anand Karaj ceremony. After this, a procession was held in the evening in memory of Jackie's Sindhi heritage. Many celebrities including Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, Varun Dhawan, his wife Natasha Dalal, Ananya Pandey, and Aditya Roy Kapur attended the wedding.

Sharing pictures from her official wedding on her Instagram handle, Rakul wrote, "Mine now and forever" along with a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, amid her wedding celebrations, Rakul Preet Singh recently opened up about the importance of having the "right partner". The actress was speaking to Cosmopolitan India when she said that "ambitious" women should take time to find a partner who not only understands them but is also willing to share responsibilities.
