The Kapoor family wanted to invite our country's Prime Minister  Shri Narendra Modi to their upcoming festival. And thus Narendra Modi invited them to his residence.

All the dignitaries in the Kapoor family were present there. This included Ranbir Kapoor his wife Alia Bhatt Kapoor his mother Neetu Kapoor his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni his brother-in-law Bharat Sahni his cousin sisters and brothers  Karisma Kapoor  Kareena Kapoor Khan  Anissa Malhotra  Aadar Jain  Armaan Jain  Kareena Kapoor's husband the famous actor Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir's aunt Reema Kapoor Jain, uncle Manoj Jain, Nikhil Nanda and his sister Nitasha Nanda. Each person in the family carries a part of Raj Kapoor's legacy in their own special way.

The Kapoor family had a special meeting with Shri Narendra Modi that brought up old memories in a warm and loving atmosphere. This meeting highlighted the impressive history of the Kapoor family in the film industry.

When Ranbir Kapoor spoke to Prime Minister Modi, he mentioned that they were unsure of how to address him. Ranbir shared how even his aunt Reema kept asking in their group chat whether they should call the Prime Minister "Prime Minister"  "Respected Prime Minister"  or "Prime Minister of India". Modi fondly replied that he is like family and they can call him whatever they feel comfortable with. This made the Kapoor family feel more at ease.

Prime Minister Modi praised the work of Raj Kapoor, during the meeting. He mentioned how Raj's movies were loved not only in India but also around the world. Modi ji suggested creating a documentary about the legendary Raj Kapoor to highlight his important role in Indian cinema and Indian culture. This idea excited the Kapoor family as they saw it as a wonderful way to honor their beloved Pitamah Raj Kapoor.

When Reema Kapoor Jain expressed her gratitude  Modi said he too felt honored and really proud to meet the Kapoor family because Raj Kapoor Saheb was a big inspiration through his art and his films. Modi ji said, "Raj Kapoor established India's soft power in the world through his movies when the concept was not even widely known." Modi ji said, "in the diplomatic world soft power is often discussed widely but years before this discussion, Raj Kapoor had already introduced India's soft power to the world when it was not even a familiar term. This was a significant contribution to India.

Modi ji also shared a story about the Jan Sangh party losing an election in Delhi. He said, "After the loss, Advani ji and Atal ji decided to watch a movie for inspiration. They watched Raj Kapoor's film 'Phir Subah Hogi' and it inspired them. And truly today that Subah has come." Modi ji also remembered a time when he visited China and his host played a song from a Raj Kapoor film. He had his team record the song and sent it to Rishi Kapoor, who was very happy. Modi ji's This anecdote made Kapoor's entire family happy too.

Modi ji suggested to the Kapoor family that a documentary should be made about the influence Raj Kapoor had in Central and Eastern Europe through his films.

Neetu Kapoor shared her thoughts during the meeting as well. She thanked Modi ji for recognizing, and acknowledging her family's history and said  "We are full of gratitude and honor for the precious time you (Modi ji) have given us." With a warm tone, she also mentioned how her daughter Riddhima had been eagerly waiting for this moment for a decade. Modi was surprised and responded by blessing Riddhima, showing that this acceptance was truly meaningful to her and her family.

Saif Ali Khan told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he was the first Prime Minister he had ever met and he was so impressed by Modi ji's hard work and energy for the country. To this, Modi ji mentioned that he had also met Saif's father in the past and today he was hoping to meet three generations of their family but unfortunately, he didn't get the chance to meet Saif's children Tim and Jeh. Kareena then requested Modi to write a special message for her children and so Modi ji wrote a message for Tim and Jeh on a picture of Lord Ganpati.

Kareena expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Modi ji saying  "We are thankful for your presence and support. It is very meaningful to us that you are here for this important event. Her words showed the pride and appreciation felt by the whole family.

Alia Bhatt, the popular actress and wife of Ranbir Kapoor,  had a fun interaction with PM Modi. She asked him if he listens to songs? and Modi ji enthusiastically replied that yes, he loves listening to songs whenever he gets the chance.

His respect for our grandfather's legacy was very touching. He talked about how my grandfather's films went beyond borders and touched people's hearts not just in India but around the world. It made me proud to be a part of this family and to carry on that legacy in my own way. " It was evident that Ranbir understood the significance of this moment.
