Priyanka Chopra Joins Brother’s Wedding with Daughter & In-Laws, Spreading Joy!

May God always keep Priyanka Chopra happy! She is someone who lives every moment of life like a celebration. Currently, she’s in Mumbai with her in-laws, enjoying the joy of her brother's wedding, surrounded by both her in-laws and her family. There are no Bollywood appointments, just pure family time as she celebrates the wedding of her brother, Siddharth.

When Priyanka enters the wedding festivities, the atmosphere at the haldi and sangeet ceremonies becomes electrified. Priyanka can be seen dancing to the tune of a song from her own film: "Tumne Mari Entry, Dil Mein Baji Ghanti Yaar..." On her Instagram, she shares glimpses of the event and captions it: "Kicking off #Sidnee Ki Shaadi with happiest haldi ceremony." (Sidnee refers to the newlywed couple: Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyay, with Neelam being Priyanka’s new sister-in-law, who also comes from the glamour world, having worked as a model and actress in South Indian cinema.)

Priyanka’s cousins, Manara and Mitali, are also part of the celebration. Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, feels overwhelmed with happiness as her daughter’s in-laws—her father-in-law (Kevin Jonas Senior) and mother-in-law (Denise Jonas)—arrive to join in the celebration. The joy she feels while hugging her granddaughter, Priyanka’s daughter Malti Marie Jonas, is beyond words. As a mother, this moment is a culmination of her life's achievements. After embracing her daughter-in-law, Madhu Chopra participates in a Ganesh Puja, seeking blessings for a prosperous and joyful life. Priyanka also ensures that her daughter Malti, dressed in traditional Indian attire, prays to Goddess Durga. The image of Priyanka with her daughter serves as a poignant reminder: no matter how big a star a woman becomes, she is first and foremost a woman and a mother.

Although the pre-wedding celebrations were kept private by the late Ashok Chopra’s family, Priyanka and Madhu Chopra continued to share photos and videos on social media, keeping everyone connected. Outside the celebration venue, reporters were standing when Priyanka’s father-in-law, Kevin Jonas Senior, stepped out with a box of sweets. He joined his hands in a traditional Indian gesture and greeted everyone with a heartfelt "Namaste," offering sweets to the guests as the head male guardian of the house. At that moment, the image of Priyanka’s late father, Ashok Chopra, seemed to come alive—remembering him as a medical officer in the army, a singer, and an art lover. It was his dream and guidance that helped Priyanka become Miss India and Miss World. Today, her father-in-law, Kevin Jonas Senior, stood in place of her father, bringing the Western and Indian worlds together in the most beautiful way.

Siddharth Chopra, Priyanka’s younger brother, is 10 years her junior. He is a film producer trying to carve out his own identity. Neelam Upadhyay, his wife, is a model and actress, who was first his friend and is now part of the Chopra family as their daughter-in-law. Siddharth and Neelam got engaged on August 24. Priyanka had been in Hyderabad for the past 10 days, where she shared a picture from the Chilkur Balaji Temple, writing: "A new chapter begins." Priyanka is also in discussions for a film SSMB 29 with South Indian star Mohan Babu. Taking a break from shooting, she flew to Mumbai to attend her brother’s wedding. In this celebration, she invited her in-laws to join in, along with her daughter Malti Marie Jonas. Priyanka, while balancing her joy, continues to pray to Balaji, writing: "May we all find prosperity and happiness in our hearts and surroundings. God’s grace is infinite."

Indeed, God’s grace is with Priyanka because wherever she goes, she brings an unforgettable sparkle, and the celebration always echoes, “Usne  Mari Entry, Dil Mein Baji Ghanti Yaar”!
