Priyanka Raina on Her "Fan" Journey with MANOJ KUMAR Cinema

Kids of my Generation have rarely known about the Golden classics. Unlike, I became a "Raj Kapoor" fan after reading KHULLAM KHULLA written by Rishi Kapoor. Before Khullam Khulla, had barely seen Raj Kapoor films besides Prem Rog or Bobby. When seen, fallen love with Cinema.  "MERA NAAM JOKER" Which is an epic brings so many Actors together for the first time. 

Unlike after watching ShahRukh Khan's "Om Shanti Om" was shattered that why are they making fun of Vetern Actor "Manoj Kumar" . "Although by then had seen none of Manoj Kumar films apart Kranti which Mom and Dad use to say about it as they saw movie after marriage before my birth, But can't make fun of anyone", Priyanka Raina said

I first watched all films starting from Upkar, Purab Aur Paschim, Kranti (Again) , Pathar ke Sanam, Hariyali aur Raasta, Short,  Shaheed and lots more. Just fallen for "MANOJ KUMAR" Cinema 

Luckily then was blessed to meet Manoj Kumar in 2010 at Dadasaheb Phalke awards for the first time,  where Media was asking Controversial about "Om Shanti Om" and he was getting angry. 

Ignoring all that, I walked in and said , "Sir Seen Purab Aur Paschim, loved way you had Pucturised Saira ji...and song Hai Preet jahan ki reet Sada...falling in love with Cinema, especially iconic one from Kranti "Zindagi ki na Toote Ladi..." , Priyanka Raina said to Manoj Kumar. 

On this Manoj Kumar smiled and said 'Thank you,  suprise that u kids love my kind of Cinema and talking on music." 

I requested to visit sir sometime and managed to have wonderful Cinematic talks at Manoj Kumar Residence.

Also feel utterly blessed that Manoj Kumar launched Two of My Directed Short films "Dum" and "Zindagi" 

Zindagi Directed by me and written by Kapil Kaustubh Sharma.  Its features Sahila Chaddha,  Yuvraaj Parashar,  Preety Chaudhary in lead roles.
