Psychological Horror ‘Happy Birthday Uma’ Begins Shooting in Hyderabad!

Award-winning actor Adarsh Gourav, who has recently gained international fame for his brilliant acting, is all set to make his South Indian film debut in an unconventional way, breaking new ground in the Telugu film segment. Adarsh is not joining many of his colleagues in a film that is tried and tested for the Telugu mainstream but it is a psychological horror with a science fiction element that has never been tried before in the language.

Currently shot in Hyderabad under the title Happy Birthday Uma, the film is produced by RRR producer D.V.V. Danayya's daughter Jahnavi.

Adarsh shared his enthusiasm about making the film, saying, “It is really exciting to be part of Telugu cinema with a movie like this. ”

This scary story is shared in an exciting way and represents a new chapter in Adarsh's career. He shared his enthusiasm for the film by saying, “I am really excited to join Telugu cinema with a movie like this.”

Aadarsh Gourav Excited for Telugu Debut in Sci-Fi Horror

Expressing his excitement about working on the film, Aadarsh said, “It is extremely exciting to enter Telugu cinema with a film like this. I have always loved stories that break conventions and Happy Birthday Uma is one of them. It is a psychological horror film, but at its core, it is also science fiction – one of the few genres that Telugu cinema has not fully explored. When Baba read out the script to me, I was mesmerized. “He has woven mystery, emotions and science fiction into a single story in a way that is unbelievable.”

He adds, “As an actor, working on something that challenges me and takes me out of my comfort zone has always been my priority and this film provides that. For the love of shooting in Hyderabad, speaking in my mother tongue, and being a part of a film that is experimenting with genre. Telugu cinema has always had the potential for large-scale storytelling and creative approaches to filmmaking, and I feel fortunate to be a part of this new wave in writing. I can’t wait for the audience to experience this film; it’s a film like you’ve never seen before.”

               
After delivering stellar performances in films like 'The White Tiger' and this week’s release 'Superboys of Malegaon', Adarsh Gourav always brings a new and broader cinema to the table with his work.

Now that 'Happy Birthday Uma' has begun production, fans have a lot to look forward to in this tense mix of horror, sci-fi, and psychological drama.
