Raashii Khanna's filmography is a perfect blend of commercial and content-driven films. When asked if women are getting enough meaty roles to play, she replied, "We're getting there". The young Pan India star explained how it is equally important for actresses to do commercial films.
"As a female actor, I do feel that it’s important to balance both commercial and content. Also, I’ve realized I’m not just a prop in the film. Women are not props anymore," the actress said while noting the welcoming change in the industry. In the same interview, Raashii explained how she never planned to make her way into Bollywood but got "pulled into it" because good content found her.
