One of Bollywood's most in-demand actors, Rajkummar Rao, is currently at the peak of his career. With back-to-back hit films, he has firmly established himself as one of the top actors in the industry. His career graph continues to soar, thanks to his relentless hard work and exceptional performances.
Rajkummar's Fee Soars After Stree 2's ₹855 Crore Success
After the success of Stree and now Stree 2, Rajkummar’s acting career has taken a new turn. Stree 2, which had a budget of ₹60 crore, went on to gross a staggering ₹855 crore worldwide at the box office. The film's massive success has had a direct impact on Rajkummar’s fee, and he is now reportedly demanding ₹5 crore per film.
In a recent interview, Rajkummar said, "From now on, I will only take up lead roles. I am steering clear of smaller characters. My work has grown significantly, and this started with films like Kai Po Che, Queen, and Shahid, which also earned me a National Award."
Due to his rising fees, Rajkummar recently turned down a role in filmmaker Vikas Bahl's film Darwaza. As a result, the role has now gone to Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who agreed to take on the part for a fee that’s much lower than Rajkummar’s new demands.
Rajkummar’s acting prowess has earned him a distinct place in Bollywood, and now, he’s ready to take only big-ticket roles. His decision to avoid supporting or side characters signals his growing stature in the industry, where he now commands a premium for his work. Rajkummar is no longer just another actor; he is a bankable star, and with his increasing demand, he is set to leave an even bigger mark on Bollywood.
