Rohan Sippy is very talented like his father 'Ramesh Sippy'

Director Rohan Sippy and actor, and filmmaker Nilesh Sahay have joined hands to make a much-awaited holiday action comedy titled "Is Diwali".
Rohan Sippy, who has directed films like "Nautanki Saala," "Dum Maaro Dum," and "Bluffmaster," will now collaborate with Nilesh Sahay, who previously wrote, produced and directed Rinzing Denzongpa starrer "Squad."

Ramesh Sippy Presents Diwali Action-Comedy Thriller 'Is Diwali'

This exciting new venture is a Diwali-based holiday action-comedy thriller set against the backdrop of political intrigue. Casting for 'Is Diwali' is currently underway and will be announced later. The film is presented by industry veteran producer-director Ramesh Sippy and Zahida, and produced by Rohan Sippy, Rupa De Choudhary, Brajesh Sahay, and Nilesh Sahay.

During the conversation, Rohan said, “From the film Do Aur Do Paanch and Ram Balram to Main Khiladi Tu Anari and the original film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, and then, the chemistry between the charismatic heroes like Bluffmaster and Taxi No. 9 2 11, I Liked watching and making this types of films. So, I find it extremely exciting to take ‘Is Diwali’ forward on the festival of this Diwali. Rohan Sippy further added, “We have continued this tradition with the magic and spirit of our most important family festival, Diwali.”

Nilesh Sahay said, “There is nothing better than celebrating the holidays with a wonderful family entertainer with a film like ‘Is Diwali’ and ‘Is Diwali’ promises just that while also tackling a major issue in today’s society. When I wrote the film I knew Rohan would be the absolute best person to make it because he has handled light-hearted entertainment brilliantly. Whereas we will bring storylines that will be tailored for audiences of all age groups where they will be thrilled, entertained, and engaged. 'Is Diwali' is going to be very exciting for cinema lovers, I promise you this. 

"Is Diwali (इस दिवाली) " is scheduled to release in 2025 coinciding with the festive season.
