Recently, a special screening of the film ‘Sabar Bonda’ starring Bhushan Manoj and Suraj Suman was held in Mumbai. The event was attended by the film’s starcast and makers, along with several renowned personalities from the entertainment industry. Story
The film starring Bhushan Manoj and Suraj Suman revolves around Anand, a young man who is forced to return to his ancestral village in rural Maharashtra for ten days of mourning. During this time, he reconnects with his childhood friend, who is now a farmer, and must decide the future of their relationship.

Marathi filmmaker Rohan Parshuram Kanawade’s film ‘Sabar Bonda’ won the Grand Jury Award in the World Cinema: Dramatic category at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. This LGBTQ+ drama was the only Indian film competing at the festival this year.
