Malaika was also among those present at the table at the time of the alleged brawl and is considered a key witness in the case. Saif Ali Khan, his co-accused Shakeel Ladak, and Bilal Amrohi were arrested soon after the incident but were later released on bail. The three have been charge sheeted under Section 325 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
