It was perhaps by sheer divine coincidence ! While legendary showman Raj Kapoor’s (@100) birth centenary was being celebrated elsewhere, in Mumbai on that same evening ( Dec 14th) AAFT University-Noida ( glorious 32 years !) led by visionary Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Marwah also had its proactive Alumni ( ex-Students) Meet in Mumbai . This was in the presence of esteemed Bollwood celebs at a wonderful event hosted by acclaimed veteran film-maker Ashok Tyagi ( Secretary General –ICMEI and Dean (Industry) AAFT School of Cinema.. In the recent past, maverick Ashok Tyagi had directed  the “boldest Hindi film” RED: Fire of Love’ starring Krushna Abhishek in a comic image-defying negative-shades playboy killer-role The prestigious late evening event held at premium venue  The Club, Andheri West, brought together distinguished Alumni and famous senior celebrities from both Bollywood and Film Journalism for an evening of  cheerful celebrations, networking, and inspiration-guidance..

The same AAFT Alumni event co-hosted by dynamic Yogesh K. Mishra ( Dean-AAFT) witnessed the presence of renowned personalities like acclaimed FTTI alumnus  gold medalist acclaimed film director Pankaj Parashar ( of ‘ Jalwa’, Chaalbaaz’, ‘Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge’  etc and ‘Karamchand’ TV show )  Manmohan Shetty (Founder, Imagica & Adlabs), Shibashish Sarkar (Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment), Sushma Shiromanee (Sr VP IMPPA)  international fashion-icon designer  and pageant show director Shubh Malhotra, ; film-industry dynamic leader Mr. T P Aggarwal ( now appointed ‘Patron’—ICMEI ),  senior actor Anil Nagrath,( Secretary-IMPPA)  film-producers Mansingh Deep with Kalyani Singh  Bollywood and TV celebrities such as actress Upasana Singh ( Gen Secretary-CINTAA),  Samiksha Bhatnagar, famous model-actress Mallobika Banerjii,  veteran actress Sujata Mehta, popular celeb actor-singer-composer  Aroon Bakshi,  writer-film-maker Soham P. The formal AAFT Alumni star-studded event was followed by a meet-and-mingle informal inter-active dinner session where there was lots cheerful ‘fun-tastic’ cheerful  jubilant moments .
