Shahrukh Khan the King of Bollywood is a king of cricket too!

It is as if kingship is in the lines on his forehead. When he used to do TV serials in Delhi, he used to give lifts to fellow actors in his car till Jamnapaar even though his house was in the other direction. He believed deeply in teamwork. For his friends, he was a king even then. He came to Mumbai when the start of 'Dil Aasna Hai' and 'Deewana' led him to the most successful film of the eighties 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' (DDLJ), and he became the favorite of the Yash Raj banner team. And now, when his cricket team KKR has won the "IPL 2024" in the Indian Cricket League matches for the third time, he gives full credit to the team, writing an emotional note- "My boys, boys, champs...!" This language style can only be of a king.

He also does not forget to thank the team's coach - Gautam Gambhir, trainer, co-owners - Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta, his secretary Pooja Dadlani and his wife Gauri and children (Aryan, Suhana, AbRam). Shahrukh has written a complete post on his 'x' handle with the group anthem - "Korbo...Lorbo...Jeetbo...Always." He has written - "I cannot do everything alone and neither can you. But together we can do everything @kkriders stood for simply being together beyond the ability", and perhaps this mantra is the secret of King Khan's reign over both Bollywood and IPL.

Shahrukh Khan: A Story of Commitment and Versatility

Here is an incident worth mentioning, when Shahrukh was pursuing his graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi, in a survey interview he had said that he was interested in acting as well as films. Which of the two would he like to succeed in? His answer to this question was- 'I will try to be associated with both.' That has been proved true today. Those who are associated with and work with him also believe that King Khan does not back out from his commitments. Before Gauri Khan became Mrs. Shahrukh, Shahrukh and Gauri were in love for six years. Everyone thought that only when the Hindu girl Gauri Chhibber becomes a Muslim, the train of his life will move forward on track. Shahrukh married Gauri as per Hindu rituals and even today there is no rigid line of religion in his bungalow Mannat. Eid is celebrated there and so is Diwali. When Shah Rukh Khan fell ill in Gujarat after the hit wave, Gauri was seen being an indomitable wife at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, cheering for her team KKR against the Sun Rising Hyderabad (SRH) team during the final match. When her ailing husband Shah Rukh Khan came to the field to cheer the players, Gauri's eyes were fixed on him. She was seen instructing SRK - "Wear a mask, wear a mask." On the topic of commitment, it is also worth mentioning that Shah Rukh's secretary Pooja Dadlani works for films, but after winning the IPL, Badshah did not forget to include her name in his thank you speech.
