Veteran 'showman ' music-savvy maverick film-maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra (of recent super-hit '12th' Fail movie fame) and T-Series came together this afternoon to launch their banger-viral song track ‘Chal Zero Pe Chalte Hain’ at a grand musical event in Mumbai. This soulful inspiring track is the highlight of the upcoming film ‘Zero Se Restart’, which is all set to release in theatres on Friday, December 13, 2024.  Divine coincidence that the very next day (Dec 14th, 2024) is showman Raj Kapoor's centenary birthday, who is admired for his RK lyrical inspiring iconic songs ‘Chal Zero Pe Chalte Hain’ brings together some of the country’s biggest singing icons Shaan, Sonu Nigam, and Shankar Mahadevan, in a rare collaboration. The track’s introspective lyrics ( by Swanand Kirkire) infectious foot-tapping beat and fabulous melody (by composer Shantanu Moitra) promise to strike a chord with viewers and audiences, giving them an inspiring anthem of optimistic hope and resilient renewal.

The afternoon VVC and T-Series event at PVR-Lido was a celebration of live-jamming music and nostalgia, as the song transported the singers and the audience back to their ‘zero moments’, with National Award-winning composer Shantanu Moitra leading this musical afternoon. Genius Moitra was joined by singers Shaan and Shankar Mahadevan, along with special guest superstar singer Shreya Ghoshal who graced the occasion with her presence. They all shared emotional stories of their ‘zero moments’ with celebrated filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and sang 'live their own playback-songs from Chopra's banner. Which in turn enthralled the invited audience and gave them an insight into the brilliant idea behind making this 'ChalZeroPeChalteHain' awesome song, and the pivotal role it plays in ‘Zero Se Restart’.

Sharing his vision, the outspoken Vidhu Vinod Chopra remarked, “Zero Se Restart represents the human spirit of never giving up. This song encapsulates the essence of the film, and we hope that audiences find the strength to revisit their own ‘zero moments’ and ‘restart’ from there.”

In an emotional flashback, star-singer Shaan who had sung even as a child-artiste singer for VVC's Parinda ( (1989) under legendary composer R D Burman, said, “Being part of this song was deeply personal, as it brought me back to my ‘zero moment’ with Vidhu ji. Shankar Mahadevan (who had composed alonmg with Ehsaan and Loy for Chopra's 'Mission Kashmir' year 2000) “This fantastic track brings together many emotions in a deeply moving composition.
