Shreyas Talpade Calls ‘Kapkapiii’: Horror-comedy movie Kapkapiii, featuring Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, will be released in theatres on May 23. Directed by late Sangeeth Sivan, produced by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar Bansal under the banner of Bravo Entertainment and presented by Zee Studios.

This movie is the final work of late director Sangeeth Sivan, famous for his super hit comedy films such as Kyaa Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Money Money. He had prepared the first cut of the film before his untimely death in May 2024, and the team finished the movie as a tribute to his dream and legacy.

Kapkapiii Blends Horror & Humor with a Ouija Twist

Kapkapiii is all about a set of friends who attempt to enjoy themselves by playing with a Ouija board. But suddenly, things become worse, and they are confronted with real supernatural issues. The movie blends horror segments and comedy segments so that the audience may laugh as well as be afraid at the same time. The title of the movie, "Aatma ji darshan do na," indicates that it's an unusual and frightening genre.

Kapkapiii is a remake of Malayalam horror-comedy hit Romancham. Screenplayed by Kumar Priyadarshi and Saurabh Anand in Hindi, the movie features Siddhi Idnani, Sonia Rathi, Jay Thakkar, Zakir Hussain, Divyendu Bhattacharya, Varun Pandey, Dhirendra Tiwari, Abhishek Kumar and Dinkar Sharma in significant roles.
