Sonakshi Sinha Calls Herself Shurpanakha, Cites Ramayana Family Ties

Sonakshi, who started her acting career with Salman Khan's film 'Dabangg', became famous with her first film itself. Since she is the daughter of a famous actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, it was not difficult for Sonakshi to make a place in Bollywood. After making her mark in the hearts of fans, Sonakshi is all set to start a new chapter of her life with her longtime love Zaheer Iqbal. However, rumors of a family feud over Sonakshi's union with Zaheer are going viral on the internet. Also, the absence of her twin brothers Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha from the family function just before their wedding added fuel to the fire.

The names of the family members are based on the Ramayana.

Sonakshi Sinha has always been open about her life choices and accepts it. Recently we came across an old video of her with Farah Khan. In the clip, we can see that Farah Khan revealed that the house Sonakshi lives in is called Ramayan and her father's name is Shatrughan. Sonakshi proudly revealed that her father also has three brothers, Ram, Lakhan, and Bharat. Not only this, Sonakshi revealed that her brother's name is Luv and Kush and her house is named 'Ramayana'.

Sonakshi called herself Shurpanakha

To this, Farah quipped that she doesn't have a name like 'Shurpanakha' and said, "They could have given you a name from Ramayan, no Shurpanakha, not one like Shurpanakha?" Sonakshi jokingly revealed that she is doing the same things as Shurpanakha. She said: "I am doing the same things as Shurpanakha...last time I came after getting defamed..."
