Iconic versatile singer-performer, reality-show judge and awesome mimic Sonu Nigam is also known innovative vocal experiments. On one of the already-telecast episodes of the popular Kapil Sharma Comedy Sony TV Show, celeb guest Sonu Nigam (who had come with his charismatic wife Madhurima ) presented an improvised, innovative version of the traditional song-game 'Antakshari'
Instead of the last letter of the song cue,. the brilliant Sonu selected the 'last-word' of each song and made it into a 'non-stop' jump-medley ( "Anta-shabd-kadi" ) of nearly 20 hit Hindi songs.

From gaana 'Har ghadi badal rahi hai ' right up to gaana 'Tujhe laage naa nazariya' it was a smooth continuous melodious flow !. Everyone in Kapil's Sony comedy TV show studio-audience and millions of repeat-watch viewers were impressed and highly appreciated Sonu's daring 'live' hatke vocal experiment
What is commendable is super-talented Sonu Nigam’s spontaneity in expressing his warm gestures and his sentimental care and ‘apnapan’ towards those whom he geuinely respects with his ‘Main Hoon Na’ reassuring nature. Quite often, one gets to observe an attitude of irreverence and indifference by some of the younger generation towards Seniors, which is rather painful. Which is why modest Sonu’s caring gestures are an exemplary lesson in humility. Actually Sonu-jee and I go back a long way, as I had interacted with him and interviewed him during the initial phase of his singing career, way back in 1995.and he fondly treats me like his "elder brother" whenever he meets me !...
