Spiritual grandeur marks auspicious Laxmi Puja at landmark Lahiri House celebrating love, harmony, prosperity ! by Chaitanya Padukone

As is their religious custom, legendary Bollywood composer-singer 'late' Bappi Lahiri's beautiful landmark bungalow Lahiri House at Juhu was once again brightly illuminated. In an ambience of warmth, religious devotion, and spiritual grandeur even as Chitrani Lahiri, Govind Bansal, Rema Lahiri-Bansal, and Rego B hosted their annual Laxmi Puja.

The homely Laxmi Puja celebration ( in its 50th year) witnessed the gracious presence of industry stalwarts like versatile veteran yet evergreen star-actor Gulshan Grover and charming lead actress model Anusmriti Sarkar who came together with other esteemed celebrities to mark the auspicious occasion. The event embodied the spirit of unity and love, as the celebs of Bollywood mingled with one another, sharing festive joy with the family. Keeping visual track of the religious ceremony was Bappi-da's US-based rock-star singer-composer son Bappa Lahiri thru video calls. Also present on the occasion was Chitrani's sister --former Bollywood senior playback singer Chandrani Mukherjee.

The Lahiri parivaar comprising Chitrani Lahiri, producer Govind Bansal, Rema Lahiri Bansal, and upcoming rock star Rego B shared their combined thoughts, "Laxmi Puja has always been close to our hearts, and it is beautiful and heart-warming to have our friends, family, and well-wishers come together for this divine celebration. We are grateful for the blessings of Goddess Maa-Laxmi and cherish the love shared by everyone present today”.  Modest, sentimental Rema Lahiri-Bansal recalled fond nostalgic memories and original royal 'bling' swag style of her legendary 'Disco King' father Bappi-Da. Courteous Rema specially complimented Anusmriti--their home-production movie heroine and also family friend.  That's because, during her stay in London, actress  Anusmriti was personally felicitated by the Mayor of Camden-London Hon'ble Samata Khatoon.

The Lahiri parivaar homely evening gathering proved to be a perfect amalgamation of festivity, faith, and friendship, capturing the very essence of religious celebrations.
