In the fifth phase of the biggest festival of democracy, the sight of Bollywood stars in Mumbai was worth seeing, when the stars of the screen were sweating while standing in line with the public on the ground. At many polling booths of Bandra and Juhu, whenever there was lightning in the sky, stars were seen standing in the queue. Many times it happened when other voters among the general public standing in the queue were giving a chance to their stars to go ahead but they did not. There were stars too who stood in the queue, moved forward slowly, followed the dignity of democracy, and entered the polling booth and voted.

Stars Encourage Fans to Vote, Showing Inked Fingers at Polling Campus

The vehicles were stopping on the road as they were not allowed inside the polling campus. Therefore, even the stars were entering the election campus after coming out of their car on the road. Seeing them outside on the road, the crowd used to shout but they could not go inside, so they used to shout their voice from there. But, the stars were also not behind in encouraging the fans. They were showing the ink on their finger after voting. The appeal of every star was - "Vote! Don't lose your right to choose the government."

Bollywood stars live in abundance in Bandra West, Khar, Lokhandwala and Juhu. People were very excited to see the presence of stars at the polling booths and there is news of maximum voting taking place at these booths. Whereas more celebrities and rich people live in these areas. It is said that more popular and affluent people go to vote less. Film stars have broken this notion. They went to vote and also inspired people by giving them the message to vote. Truly, when it comes to responsibility towards the nation, stars are found standing ahead.

Among the stars who voted were Millennium star Amitabh Bachchan, MP actress Jaya Bachchan, and her daughter-in-law actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai. On hearing the news of coming to vote, a 95-year-old man from the Juhu area also came to vote. He was welcomed by the people by garlanding him. Among other stars, Dharmendra and his family, Sunny Deol, etc. came to vote. Hema Malini had arrived with daughter Isha Deol. Hema Malini is BJP's Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Mathura and is also contesting elections from the same seat. But, she is a voter from Juhu, Mumbai. She had come to vote amid her busy election schedule.

Seeing the line of voters, Hema said - "I had expected that people would come to vote, but more people than expected came out to vote."

The stars who came to vote looked very excited. Shah Rukh Khan had come to vote with his family, who along with children Aryan and Suhana entered the campus holding Abram's fingers. Tabu, Rekha, Ranveer Singh with wife Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan with father David Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt with sister Priya Dutt... all these stars send messages by showing their inked fingers while leaving after voting. They said that they have voted, and you should also do so.

While Hrithik Roshan came to vote with his parents and sister, Gulzar was seen with his daughter Meghna. Lyricist and Censor Board chief Prasoon Joshi had come with daughter Aishwarya. Farhan Akhtar came to vote with his sister Zoya Akhtar. After voting, R Madhavan, and Paresh Rawal asked people to vote. He said- Cast your vote for good governance. Government that takes care of us, thinks for the welfare of everyone.
