Sun Neo Stars Share Heartwarming Childhood Memories on Children’s Day

Brinda Dahal Reflects on Childhood Dreams and Acting Journey

Brinda Dahal who portrays the character of Vaishnavi in Sun Neo's Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya shares, “One of my fondest memories from Children's Day celebrations in school was participating in various competitions – we had games, poetry, and debates, and I even placed third in a points competition, earning a medal that made the day truly special. If I could go back to my childhood, I'd love to relive those precious firsts, like seeing my mother for the first time or experiencing my very first day at school – moments that carry such wonder. Since I was young, my dream was to become an actress. Initially, I wanted to be a dancer, but that dream blossomed into becoming a dancer-actress. Today, working on Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya on Sun Neo feels like I’m living out that childhood dream.”

Siddhi Sharma who plays Gulki in Sun Neo's Ishq Jabariya says, “Children’s Day always brings back memories of the pure joy and innocence that kids bring into the world. Growing up with my younger siblings, I remember how we would laugh together and play without a care. As a child, I was full of energy, always asking questions and dreaming big, and I try to hold onto that curiosity and wonder even as an adult. Kids have this incredible ability to make everything seem brighter and simpler. On this special day, let’s celebrate their beautiful spirit and remember to never lose our inner child!”

Stuti Vinkle who portrays the character of Phooli in Sun Neo's show Saajha Sindoor Shares, "I remember our school would celebrate with half-day events filled with dancing and treats. I was always on the dance floor—I’ve loved dancing for as long as I can remember. Looking back, I’d love to relive those carefree days when life was just play, friends, and a bit of studying. I was both studious and a mischievous kid, always enthusiastic about every activity at school, like sports, dance, drama, and other events, which I miss a lot. Those childhood moments are so precious, a time when you just live in the moment."

Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya follows Vaishnavi (Brinda Dahal), an orphan who sees Chhathi Maiyya as her mother. Ishq Jabariya tells the story of Gulki (Siddhi Sharma) and her struggles to achieve her dreams. Saajha Sindoor depicts Phooli (Stuti Vinkle), who is labelled an unmarried widow after her groom dies on their wedding day.
