Swanand Kirkire makes his debut as show creator and writer with Ankur Tewari and leads "Bandwaale" on Prime Video

The Celebrated composer, singer, lyricist and actor, three times National Award winner Swanand Kirkire adds yet another milestone to his multifaceted creative journey as he steps into the role of a show creator for the first time with Bandwaale, which is set to stream on Prime Video. The series is created by Swanand Kirkire along with Ankur Tewari, that is marking a significant new chapter in his storytelling career.

With Bandwaale, Swanand expands his creative canvas beyond music and performance, helming his debut original series while also playing the lead role in the show. The project brings together his deep-rooted love for music, storytelling, allowing him to explore long-form narrative both behind and in front of the camera.
