He also mentioned that the story was written based on his personal experiences and creative ideas, and during the lockdown, he wrote the entire story and presented it in a French comic book-style noir/polar format.

Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhatt also shared their experiences, saying that although the film has traveled across the world, its real home is Mumbai. They requested the audience to give the film love and help it reach as many people as possible. Both actors also talked about preparing for their roles and mentioned that Anurag Kashyap’s direction and guidance helped them bring depth and realism to their characters. Sunny Leone added that it was an opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and try acting in a new way.

About the Trailer

The trailer of ‘Kennedy’, starring Rahul Bhatt, revolves around a man leading a dangerous double life. During the day, he appears as a simple taxi driver, but at night, he works as a contract killer for the police commissioner. The trailer begins with a chilling voiceover in which Kennedy admits to countless killings, immediately creating a dark and intense atmosphere.

Screening at Cannes Film Festival

Anurag Kashyap’s film was screened at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. It was the only Indian film selected for the Midnight Screen section in 2023. Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhatt play key roles in the film. At Cannes, the film received around seven minutes of standing ovation, winning the hearts of audiences worldwide.

Release Date

The film ‘Kennedy’ is set to release this month. Its premiere will be on the OTT platform Zee5 on February 20.
