Second National Award Win
This year’s celebration was even more special for Vaibhavi Merchant as she won her second National Film Award for Best Choreography for the superhit song Dhindhora Baje Re from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Earlier, she had received the same honour in 1999 for the iconic song Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. After 25 years, she has once again been honoured with this prestigious national recognition.
