Veteran Journalist, litterateur & famous Film Critic Pradeep Sardana awarded with 'Abhyudaya International Literary Award'

Senior writer, journalist, poet and film critic Pradeep Sardana was awarded with the prestigious 'Abhyudaya International Literary Award'. During the International Sahitya Utsav organized at Hindi Bhavan, Delhi, Pradeep Sardana was given this honor by well known story writer and literary figure Chitra Mudgal and Sunil Shastri, Former MP and son of the country's second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. On this occasion, many literary personalities from the country and abroad, including Indu Jhunjhunwala, President of 'Abhyudaya', were present.

Pradeep Sardana: Renowned Art & Film Critic in Media

Pradeep Sardana, who has been associated with almost all the top and prestigious print, electronic and digital media organisations of the country for years, is famous as an art and film critic. His writings on literature, politics, health, communication, transport, tourism, agriculture, education, religion, spirituality and contemporary topics also remain in the headlines. 

Pradeep Sardana, who started writing & journalism at the age of just 14, is also the youngest editor-publisher in India.

Pradeep Sardana awarded with 'Abhyudaya International Literary Award'

Pradeep Sardana, a disciple of the great poet and writer Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, also recited poetry in the prestigious Sarva Bhasha Kavi Sammelan of 'Akashvani' broadcast on Republic Day this year. 

Apart from this, Mr. Sardana's story has also been broadcast in the Doordarshan serial 'Jharokha' based on selected stories from the world. In which there were stories of the world's great story writers Chekhov, Jeffrey Archer, Mark Twain, Maupassant, Katherine Mansfield and Jaishankar Prasad.

On this occasion, Mr. Pradeep Sardana said - "Honors and awards always give a new energy and enthusiasm. It is certainly a pleasure to receive an award from an international literary organization like Abhyudaya. In the last three months, after Mumbai Hindi Academy, Akashvani Samman and National School of Drama Samman, I am overwhelmed to receive this Abhyudaya Samman now."
