What Is the Story About?

Set against the nostalgic lanes of Daryaganj in Old Delhi, Gustaakh Ishq tells a heartfelt love story rooted in culture and emotions. Nawabuddin Saifuddin Rehman (Vijay Varma) is struggling to save his late father’s old printing press. During this journey, he becomes the disciple of Aziz Beg (Naseeruddin Shah), a renowned poet who has hidden his true identity and settled in another city.
Meanwhile, love enters Nawab’s life in the form of Minni (Fatima Sana Shaikh), a gentle and kind-hearted schoolteacher. Torn between loyalty to his mentor and his feelings for Minni, Nawab reaches a crossroads where one decision has the power to change his entire life. The film beautifully captures the essence of Old Delhi, the elegance of Urdu poetry, and the warmth of human relationships.
