Vir Das to Make History: As First Indian Performer on Broadway with ‘Hey Stranger’ After ‘Full Volume’ Success

Vir Das, who won an International Emmy Award for the Netflix special Vir Das: Landing in 2023, is all set to add another landmark achievement to his career. After the stupendous success of his recent show Full Volume on Netflix, comedian, actor and writer Vir Das is now set to make his two-week Broadway debut at New York’s iconic Lincoln Center Theater with the show titled ‘Hey Stranger’. Lincoln Center has long been a stage for the world’s greatest artists.

From India, great artists like sitarist Ravi Shankar, tabla player Zakir Hussain, Pandit Anand Gopal Bose, shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan, and Carnatic singer M.S. Subbulakshmi have performed here.
