Bollywood’s talented actress Anushka Sharma is now a proud mother of two children, Vamika and Akay. She tied the knot with renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in December 2017 in Italy. Recently, Anushka returned to India and shared at an event that she and Virat often cook together for their children, ensuring they pass on their mothers’ culinary skills.
At the event, Anushka mentioned, “We discussed at home that if we don’t prepare the dishes made by our mothers, we won’t be able to share those flavors with our kids. So, sometimes I cook, and sometimes my husband does. We try to replicate the recipes just like our mothers did. I do call my mom to ask for recipes, but it’s really important. It’s like giving your children something precious.”
Anushka’s Routine for the Kids
Anushka also revealed that despite frequent family trips, she maintains a routine for her children. She explained, “I’m very strict about routines. We go on a lot of family trips, and my kids enjoy all of it. By setting a routine, I’m giving them a sense of control.”
Meal Times Are Fixed
Anushka elaborated that their meal times are set. No matter where they are, they eat and sleep at the same time, which helps the children manage themselves better. It's worth noting that Anushka and Virat have reportedly gone to the UK, where they are often spotted strolling through the streets of London.
Work Front
As for Anushka’s career, she has not appeared in films since 2018, with her last movie being 'Zero,' in which she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka is now set to appear in her highly anticipated film 'Chakda Xpress,' for which the shooting has already been completed
