Anmol Cinema is all set to bring an inspiring and emotional story to your television screens with the World Television Premiere of Sir, airing on Tuesday, 18th November at 5:30 PM. Directed by Bose Venkat and starring Vimal, Chaya Devi, Siraj S, and Saravanan, the film beautifully portrays the importance of education and the courage of one teacher who stands up against the odds to bring change to his village. With its heartfelt storytelling and powerful performances, Sir promises to touch hearts and remind audiences that a teacher’s influence can go far beyond the classroom.

Vimal said, “Playing this role was a deeply emotional journey. Sir isn’t just a story about a schoolteacher; it's about how one person can inspire an entire village to dream bigger. I’m happy that this film is now reaching more people through Anmol Cinema. I hope families watching together will take away the message that education is the greatest gift we can give to our children.”

Saravanan said, “Every child deserves a teacher who believes in them. That’s the core of Sir. The film is emotional, real, and very close to my heart. I’m proud that now audiences everywhere can watch it comfortably at home on Anmol Cinema.”

Director Bose Venkat said,“As a storyteller, I wanted to shine a light on the social divide that still exists in our country, where access to education often depends on who you are or where you come from. Sir is a tribute to every teacher who stands up against that injustice. Television has the power to reach those very homes where these stories matter most, and I’m grateful to Anmol Cinema for bringing this film to such a wide audience.”

Set against a rural backdrop in the 1960s and 1980s , Sir follows the inspiring journey of a devoted school teacher and his family who stand up against deep-rooted social barriers and discrimination to ensure that every child gets an equal opportunity to learn and dream. The film portrays the harsh realities of rural communities, where the privileged exploit and mislead the underprivileged to deny them access to education and keep them suppressed. Yet, at its core, Sir is a celebration of compassion, hope, and transformation. Through its simple yet stirring narrative, the film reminds us that education is not merely a right, but a revolution — one that begins with the determination of a single individual.

Don’t miss this heart-touching story that celebrates teachers, dreams and determination.

Tune in to the Television Premiere of ‘Sir’ on Anmol Cinema on Tuesday, 18th November at 5:30 PM.
